This website has been prepared by SMEPDO (The National Small and Medium Sized Enterprise Promotion and Development Office), Lao PDR, to provide Lao businesses with a single access point to Government information and services as well as other information useful for establishing and developing businesses in Lao PDR.

The website is primarily intended for Lao business people. For that reason the main language of the website is Lao. Only a small part of the website has been translated into English. The website is still under construction (August 2005), but as resources permit, more contents will be translated into English in the future.
